New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs took to social media with a cryptic message amid the controversy surrounding a viral video showing him handing pink powder to a group of women on a boat.
Diggs, who spent last season with the Houston Texans but had his campaign upended by an injury that limited him to just eight games, will be starting afresh with the Pats as they look to get yet another post-Bill Belichick era underway, having fired Jerod Mayo after one season.
The wideout has been the subject of some controversy ahead of his first term with New England after being caught on camera doing the aforementioned.
Another clip showed him smacking his girlfriend Cardi B on her backside while she danced with another female on that same boat. But an inside source claims she was fuming after the video of him with the other women surfaced and thinks he’s a “scumbag” because of his philandering ways.
Diggs does not seem all that bothered amid the drama and jumped into June with an appreciation message for May, though he suggested it was probably a tough month, given the above.
“to the month of May, I appreciate you none the less… gotta stay focused🤞🏾,” he wrote, sharing multiple photos and videos.
It appears Diggs is in trouble with both his girlfriend and his new team. But here’s to a better June.
