The Pittsburgh Steelers will have their first home game of the 2025 season this Sunday when they host the Seattle Seahawks. This marks the second time in seven seasons that the Steelers are playing their first home game against the Seahawks, and the second time in as many weeks that a new Steelers star will face his former team.
Wide receiver DK Metcalf will face off against the team that drafted him and subsequently traded him this past March to the Steelers. And while many will hype up the “revenge game” narrative, Metcalf is not.
“Y’all gonna make it a big deal, but I’m not,” Metcalf said via Nick Farabaugh.
Metcalf spent the first six years of his career with the Seahawks, where he was a two-time Pro Bowler and became one of the best deep threat receivers in the NFL.
