Behind the Steel Curtain
Both the Steelers and Vikings listed multiple inactive on their pregame inactive reports.
For the Steelers, running back Jaylen Warren, outside linebacker Alex Highsmith, and cornerback Joey Porter Jr. are out. For the Vikings, that list includes quarterback J.J. McCarthy, outside linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel, and guard Donovan Jackson.
With Warren out and rookie Kaleb Johnson struggling on kick returns, the Steelers elevated Trey Sermon from the practice squad ahead of the game. Kenneth Gainwell will likely start at running back for the Steelers.
