For the second consecutive week, the Steelers must get their offense in a rhythm without George Pickens (hamstring). As expected, Pickens, who suffered the injury in practice last week, was ruled out.
Safety DeShon Elliott (hamstring), second on the team in tackles with 96, has also been ruled out. He could not practice all week after suffering the injury in the Steelers Week 14 over the Cleveland Browns.
Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday that he was hopeful that Larry Ogunjobi (groin) would play in Week 15, but he never practiced and has been ruled out. Ogunjobi played nine defensive snaps and recorded two total tackles in the Steelers’ Week 14 win over the Browns before exiting with the injury.
