The Pittsburgh Steelers top offensive weapons are being disrespected once again.

The Pittsburgh Steelers added several new faces to their offense this offseason, but their offensive trio of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, running back Jaylen Warren, and wide receiver DK Metcalf stayed the same, and those around the league are not impressed.

In fact, Jared Dubin of CBS Sports recently ranked the Steelers’ triplets as the sixth-worst group in the NFL.

“The Steelers fell two spots, suggesting skepticism about Aaron Rodgers’ solid-on-paper season, in which he threw for 24 touchdowns and just seven interceptions,” Dubin wrote. “Rodgers again played extremely conservative football and essentially refused to get hit, firing short, quick passes all year long. Jaylen Warren will split reps with Dowdle, but we kept Warren in the lead role here because he’s the more versatile player. Metcalf isn’t the best fit with Rodgers’ style of play, and he posted the second-fewest yards per game of his career last year. The Steelers were in a virtual tie with the next team on our list.”

The Steelers triplets didn’t exactly light up the stat sheet last season. Rodgers threw for 3,322 yards, 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Warren rushed for 958 yards and six touchdowns and Metcalf recorded 59 catches for 850 yards and six touchdowns.

However, the Steelers are ranked behind several other teams with players who have underwhelmed or still have much to prove.

The Arizona Cardinals are ranked just ahead of Pittsburgh with journeyman Jacoby Brissett, rooking running back Jeremiyah Love and tight end Trey McBride.

Then the Las Vegas Raiders are ranked ahead of Arizona with rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza, running back Ashton Jeanty and tight end Brock Bowers.

Only time will tell how these rankings will look in a year’s time, but the Steelers certainly look primed to have a better statistical season in 2026 with their offseason additions and new head coach Mike McCarthy leading the charge.
