Behind the Steel Curtain
The Pittsburgh Steelers defense had to make some on-the-fly adjustments in the lead-up to their Week 9 win over the Indianapolis Colts. With Miles Killebrew, Chuck Clark, Juan Thornhill, and DeShon Elliott all out of the lineup, the Steelers moved cornerback Jalen Ramsey back to safety, and it turned out to be a great move.
Ramsey had five tackles and two run stops, per Next Gen Stats, and looked very comfortable in his role. In his Tuesday press conference, Mike Tomlin said that Ramsey will stay at safety this week, and praised both Ramsey and Kyle Dugger for the job they did against the Colts.
With the trade deadline mere hours away, weโll see if the Steelers make any moves on the defensive side of the ball, or at receiver to bolster a thin room.
