Behind the Steel Curtain
The Steelers have a lengthy injury report entering Week 15’s Monday Night Football matchup against the Miami Dolphins. However, Pittsburgh got some good news early Sunday, with the team’s public relations lead Burt Lauten announcing that tight end Darnell Washington has cleared concussion protocol.
Previously listed as questionable, Washington now carries no injury designation and is set to play on Monday.
Washington recorded one catch for 12 yards in the Steelers’ Week 14 win over the Baltimore Ravens before leaving the game. He was one of three Steelers to suffer a concussion in the game; offensive tackle Andrus Peat has been listed as out with his while linebacker Malik Harrison cleared the protocol earlier in the week.
