PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers starting left guard Isaac Seumalo returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the team’s Week 10 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Seumalo has been battling a pectoral injury for several weeks. He first suffered the injury against the Green Bay Packers in Week 8. He returned to that game before later being ruled out. In Week 9, he had only a limited practice on Friday, but still started against the Indianapolis Colts. He was also unable to finish that game, leaving at halftime.
Spencer Anderson replaced Seumalo at left guard each time he was out, with Andrus Peat filling in when Anderson was placed on the outside in the team’s jumbo personnel package.
