PITTSBURGH — Starting left guard Isaac Seumalo did not practice for the second straight day on Thursday, bringing into question whether he’ll be able to suit up when the Pittsburgh Steelers travel to face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football in Week 10.

Seumalo missed the first two practice sessions of last week, as well, after suffering the injury in Week 8 against the Green Bay Packers. He briefly returned to that game before being removed in the second half. Against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Seumalo started, but could not finish the game.

Spencer Anderson replaced him at left guard in both games, and would start if Seumalo can’t play on Sunday. While Anderson has played well this season, him starting at guard could limit the team’s ability to use its jumbo offensive package, where he has been paired with 300-pound tight end Darnell Washington.
