PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey (illness) and left guard Isaac Seumalo (triceps) are both listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.

Ramsey missed practice on Thursday and Friday with an undisclosed illness. If Ramsey can’t go, the Steelers will be without three defensive backs on Sunday. Cornerbacks Brandin Echols (groin) and James Pierre (calf) have been ruled out.

If Ramsey is unable to play, Chuck Clark would be in line to start at free safety. Asante Samuel Jr. started the last two games in place of Pierre, while Daryl Porter Jr. made his NFL debut and could be the next man up at slot cornerback if all of Pierre. The other option would be recently signed cornerback Tre Flowers.

Seumalo suffered the triceps injury in the team’s Week 15 win over the Miami Dolphins. Seumalo, who was out for last Sunday’s win over the Detroit Lions, was a limited participant in all three practices this week. Spencer Anderson will start at left guard if Seumalo can’t go.

Seumalo dealt with a pectoral ailment earlier in the season. Including against Miami, Seumalo has played in 13 games this season, starting all of them. He spent the first seven years of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles, who drafted him in the third round in 2016. He started over 60 games during that stretch with the Eagles.

The Steelers signed Seumalo to a three-year deal in free agency in 2023, also adding Nate Herbig that same offseason. Both of the guards the team had at the time — Kevin Dotson and James Daniels — have been replaced since then.
