Following Week 2’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the Steelers have made some adjustments to their practice squad.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Pittsburgh is signing linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley to the team’s practice squad.

Bentley is the team’s second practice squad signing of the day; the Steelers reportedly added wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins earlier.

To make room for Bentley and Hodgins, the Steelers released rookie tight end J.J. Galbreath and wide receiver Rakim Jarrett from the practice squad.

Bentley was drafted in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. Since then, he has started 68 games with 509 combined career tackles, two interceptions, 21 tackles for loss, and 10.5 sacks.

He had three straight 100-plus tackle seasons from 2021-23. His 2024 season was cut short after two games due to a pectoral tear.

Bentley visited the Steelers earlier Tuesday.
