The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed wide receiver Montana Lemonious-Craig, the team announced on Tuesday morning. Lemonious-Craig was at the Steelers’ rookie minicamp earlier this month.

Lemonious-Craig is the fourth player to sign after receiving a tryout at rookie minciamp. He joins veteran running back Trey Sermon and rookie offensive tackle Gareth Warren and rookie running back Max Hurleman.

Lemonious-Craig played his last two years of college football at the University of Arizona (2023-24). He played his first three seasons (2020-22) at Colorado.

Lemonious-Craig appeared in 11 of 12 games during the 2024 season with the Wildcats, recording 172 receiving yards on the season. He had a season-high 75 receiving yards and season-high carry for 20 yards against No. 14 Kansas State on Sept. 13. In two seasons with Arizona, he recorded 45 receptions (10.4 average) for 468 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

At Colorado, Lemonious-Craig played in 25 career games, starting 12. He recorded 33 receptions for 482 yards and five touchdowns during his time with the Buffaloes.

Overall in his college career, the Inglewood, Calif. native appeared in 47 games, finishing with 79 receptions for 965 yards (12.2 average) and nine touchdowns.

Lemonious-Craig scored a 5.57 Relative Athletic Score (RAS) out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 1692 out of 3815 WR from 1987 to 2025. Standing at 6-foot-1, 191 pounds, Lemonious-Craig had a 35-inch vertical and ran a 4.54 40-yard dash at his pro day.

Lemonious-Craig joins a Steelers’ wide receivers room that features DK Metcalf, Calvin Austin III, Roman Wilson, Robert Woods, Scotty Miller, Ben Skowronek, Brandon Johnson, Ke’Shawn Williams, Lance McCutcheon and Roc Taylor.

Lemonious-Craig will wear No. 14, which was last worn by former wide receiver George Pickens, who was traded to the Dallas Cowboys earlier this month.
