The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed defensive back Amari Harvey, the team announced on Thursday.

Harvey originally signed with the Denver Broncos after going undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft. He was waived by Denver on June 18.

Harvery, who stands at 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, ran a 4.52 in the 40-yard dash at his Georgia Tech pro day.

He spent four seasons at Georgia Tech (2022-25) and one season at Auburn (2021). At Georgia Tech, he appeared in 43 games and recorded 121 tackles, including 98 solo stops.

Harvey also registered 12 passes defended, five and a half tackles for a loss, four interceptions, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one sack.

Harvey is a ball-hawk. He had an impressive interception on Boston College quarterback Thomas Castellanos in 2023.

In a corresponding move, the Steelers released outside linebacker K.J. Henry.

The Steelers re-signed Henry in January, after a brief stint with the Cleveland Browns at the end of the 2025 season.

enry, 26, joined the Steelers on Oct. 11 after stints with the Browns and Philadelphia Eagles earlier this season. He was not elevated from the practice squad and did not appear in a game before his release from the practice squad on Nov. 5.

After getting cut by the Steelers, Henry landed back with the Browns, signing with Cleveland on Nov. 11. He finished the regular season on the Browns’ practice squad. He played one game, appearing on five snaps of special teams and not recording any statistics for the Browns against the Tennessee Titans on Dec. 7.

Henry’s contract was allowed to expire at the end of the Cleveland regular season, and he became a free agent, choosing to sign with the Steelers.
