PITTSBURGH — Aaron Rodgers took it easy during his first three-day minicamp with the Pittsburgh Steelers, taking part in only individual drills as he’s still getting up to speed with the playbook.
But he’s still taking the time to try to connect with his receivers. Thursday, it was tight end Pat Freiermuth’s turn, as he stood in for the quarterbacks as the lone receiver for them to practice with while the rest of the tight ends and wide receivers did individual drills.
On the defensive field, Alex Highsmith worked on his famous spin move, and Cam Hayward tried to duplicate it while also dominating a footwork drill.
