PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey continues his recovery from a Week 4 hamstring injury that was expected to keep him out for multiple weeks, but he just might be ahead of schedule.
Ramsey was at practice on Wednesday, stretching with the team, and while he has yet to be a full participant in practice, head coach Mike Tomlin did not rule him out for the Steelers’ Week 6 game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Whether Ramsey plays against the Browns or not, he appears to be putting himself in position to be able to play in Week 7, when the Steelers will certainly need his help against a deep and talented corps of Cincinnati Bengals receivers.
On the offensive field, running back Jaylen Warren continues to wear a compression sleeve over his injured right knee, but otherwise appears to be good to go in his return to practice after missing Week 4. New practice squad running back Raheem Blackshear took his first reps with the team, as well.
