PITTSBURGH — Jaylen Warren was one of the last Pittsburgh Steelers players to take the field for practice on Monday, but he had a good reason for his tardiness. Warren was putting the finishing touches on his two-year contract extension with the team on Monday morning.
After jogging onto the field and getting stretched out, Warren then led the offense through ball security drills.
Six Steelers sported new jersey numbers at Monday’s first regular season practice. Among them, rookie defensive tackle Yahya Black changed from No. 78 to No. 94.
