PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers took the field as a full squad for the first time in the 2025 season on Tuesday for the first practice of OTAs at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.
The voluntary workouts were largely well-attended, with just a handful of veterans opting out of the proceedings. The absence of DK Metcalf allowed youngsters Calvin Austin III and Roman Wilson to lead the receivers, with Mason Rudolph and Will Howard directing the offense.
On the line, Broderick Jones and Troy Fautanu settled in at their new positions. Over on defense, Nick Herbig stepped up into T.J. Watt’s usual slot.
