PITTSBURGH — After a week of questions as to whether he would or he wouldn’t, wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling finally joined the PittsburghS Steelers on Tuesday, and he had his first practice with the team on Wednesday.
Here’s the team’s newest practice squad member on Thursday, taking part in drills with wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni.
Valdes-Scantling said he hopes to be able to pick up the Pittsburgh offense quickly.
“Everybody runs the same plays, they just calls it different names,” he said. “Just being able to figure it out what they call it here and go play.”
