PITTSBURGH — Linebacker Kana’i Mauga made his Pittsburgh Steelers practice debut on Wednesday, just hours after signing with the team’s practice squad.
He participated in his first practice on Wednesday, and had some big shoes to fill, as starting linebacker Patrick Queen was not seen at practice during the individual portion of Wednesday’s session.
Queen suffered a glute injury last Sunday against the Buffalo Bills and did not return. Head coach Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday that he is questionable to play this week.
