PITTSBURGH — A day after safety Juan Thornhill decked himself out in gold, other Pittsburgh Steelers players, including receiver DK Metcalf, experimented with the color themselves during practice on Friday.
The Steelers will wear their modernized throwback uniforms against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night, an outfit that includes gold helmets and jerseys.
