PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren left his team’s game in the second half against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday with an ankle injury. The team listed him as questionable to return.
Warren was injured after catching a swing pass on the first drive of the second half. He was tackled by Cincinnati safety Jordan Battle on the play. He walked off the field on his own power and was attended to in the medical tent on the Pittsburgh sideline.
Kenneth Gainwell and Kaleb Johnson both helped replace Warren’s usual role as the drive played out.
