Final practice report of the week...
The Pittsburgh Steelers have held their final practice ahead of Week 13, preparing for a trip west to Cincinnati for their first of two matchups with the Bengals this year.
There are just three players listed with an injury designation ahead of Week 13, including CB Cory Trice Jr. and DT Montravius Adams, who have been ruled out with hamstring and knee injuries, respectively. Both of them are currently on the injured reserve in their 21-day practice window. It is notable, however, that Trice is running out of time before his season would officially end. If he is not activated to the 53-man roster by the end of his 21-day practice window (Thursday, December 5), he will be out for the season. Adams has more time, as his practice window was just opened on Wednesday (November 27). On the concerning side has been the fact that Trice has been logging full practices prior to being downgraded to limited on Thursday and Friday — hopefully a precautionary measure rather than a setback.
Listed as doubtful for Week 13 is edge rusher Alex Highsmith, who’s been out since suffering an ankle injury in Week 10. He logged two limited practices on Thursday and Friday and expressed earlier in the week that he hoped to play, but given his injuries this season, it’s probably better to be on the safe side when it comes to injury if they hope to avoid any setbacks.
With the final practice of the week in the books, here’s a full breakdown of Steelers' final injury designations, as well as their participation report for their final practice ahead of Week 13 against the Bengals.
