Steelers Now
With the season fast approaching, the Pittsburgh Steelers revealed their game themes for the 2026 season on Monday.
The Steelers will have the Hall of Honor ceremony when they face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3 on Sept. 27. The Hall of Honor Dinner will be held on Friday, Sept. 25, when the team officially inducts this year’s Hall of Honor class during a special ceremony at Acrisure Stadium. The Hall of Honor class will be announced during training camp on Saturday, Aug. 1.
The Steelers will host their Crucial Catch game on Sunday, Oct. 11 when they take on the Indianapolis Colts at Acrisure Stadium. The team’s annual charities event, Steelers Style, will be held on Fri., Oct. 9. This is the team’s largest philanthropic event and benefits the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program, Cancer Bridges & the Chuck Noll Foundation.
The team will also be in the Halloween spirit when they host the annual Spooktacular, an opportunity for young fans to trick or treat throughout Acrisure Stadium, on Tue., Oct. 20.
The Steelers host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Nov. 1. The Browns game will be the Steelers’ Salute to Service game. Since the inception of the NFL’s Salute to Service initiative, the Steelers have honored countless veterans at the annual game and celebrated those who continue to serve in all branches of the armed forces.
The Steelers will also take part in the league’s player cause initiative, My Cause, My Cleats against the Houston Texans on Dec. 6. After the players wear the cleats, they have the option to auction them off to raise money for their cause on NFL Auction, with 100% of the funds raised given to the charity. Fans may bid on player cleats at NFL.com/Auction.
The game against the Texans will also be Alumni Weekend. The Alumni Dinner will be held on Sat., Dec. 5.
The Steelers will open the season at home against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Sept. 13 at 1 p.m. There’s no theme or event for the home opener. There’s also no theme or event for the Steelers’ Week 12 game against the Denver Broncos on Black Friday.
Below are some of the other themes that will take place this season at Acrisure Stadium.
Thursday, Aug. 13 — vs. Green Bay Packers — Steelers Play Football game.
Friday, Aug. 21 — vs. New York Jets — Steelers Family Day.
Sunday, Dec. 20 — vs. Baltimore Ravens — NFL’s social justice campaign
Week 16, TBD — vs. Carolina Panthers — “Thank You Fans” game
The annual Kickoff and Rib Festival at Acrisure Stadium, presented by I.C. Light, will run from Aug 28-Sept. 1. Admission is free, and there is something for everyone. Enjoy national rib vendors, football, music, activities and much more. The annual Steelers Run Walk and Kids Fun Run will be held that weekend, as well.
