Despite not doing anything other than enjoying their Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday night, the Pittsburgh Steelers re-gained sole possession of first place in the AFC North after the Baltimore Ravens lost to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Joe Burrow returned at quarterback for the Bengals after missing 10 games with turf toe, but it was the Cincinnati defense that was an unexpectedly tough out for Lamar Jackson and company. The Bengals forced five turnover and held Jackson in check all night in a 32-14 rout of the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.

Jackson threw an interception, was sacked three times and lost two fumbles. Zay Flowers and Isaiah Likely also lost fumbles.

Burrow was 24 of 46 for 261 yards in his return, throwing for two touchdowns β€” one to tight end Tanner Hudson and the other to slot receiver Andrei Iosivas. Ja”Marr Chase caught seven passes for 110 yards in his return from a one-game suspension for spitting on Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey.

The 6-5 Steelers not only took the lead in the division, they will also take hold of the tiebreaker over the Ravens. Baltimore had been 2-0 in the AFC North, while the Steelers were 2-1. Now with the team holding even divisional records, the Steelers’ better overall AFC record will come into play, even if Pittsburgh loses to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
