Behind the Steel Curtain
Week 18’s Steelers versus Ravens game will be a win-and-in game regarding this year’s NFL playoffs — and both teams and fanbases will have to wait until the very last game of the regular season to find out if they made it.
On Sunday, the NFL announced that Steelers-Ravens will kick off on Sunday Night Football on Jan. 4, with the usual start time of 8:20 p.m. EST on NBC. The Steelers will be playing at home in Pittsburgh’s Acrisure Stadium with the division title on the line.
There’s no Monday Night Football game Week 18, making the AFC North game the final matchup of the week.
Coming off an ugly loss to the Cleveland Browns, the Steelers will need to regain momentum against a Baltimore team that upset the Green Bay Packers on the road in Week 17. Pittsburgh already defeated the Ravens 27-22 earlier this season.
The game will mark the Steelers’ third appearance on Sunday Night Football this season. The team lost the first two.
On most sportsbooks, the Ravens have opened as three-point road favorites despite an unclear situation at quarterback.
