Aaron Rodgers garnered plenty of reactions for his handling of the tush push play during the Pittsburgh Steelers’ matchup against the Miami Dolphins on Monday night.
The highlight took place during the second quarter of the contest. Pittsburgh was at the one-yard line in Miami’s territory, only needing to push the ball in for the touchdown score. They decided to use the tush push, having Connor Heyward do the honors while Rodgers chilled in the background.

It didn’t take long for fans to react to Rodgers’ handling of the play. Here are some of their reactions.
“Aaron Rodgers on EVERY single Steelers tush push ,” one fan said while posting a photo of Rodgers pointing at the play.
“Aaron Rodgers when the Steelers run the tush push,” another remarked while uploading a humorous video.
“Aaron Rodgers whenever the Steelers do the tush push. #MIAvsPIT,” another commented then posting a photo of someone standing still while watching the TV.
“Aaron Rodgers standing in the back when it’s tush push time,” another replied then using the chill guy meme.
“Aaron Rodgers on Steelers tush push plays ,” a fan said while posting a photo of a standing cat.
It was a funny moment for Aaron Rodgers to have while leading the Steelers to the 28-15 win over the Dolphins.
Both teams were defensively competitive throughout the first half, being scoreless in the opening quarter before finally getting on the board in the second period. Pittsburgh came alive in the second half, using big touchdown plays to stop Miami in its tracks.
Rodgers had a strong night under the primetime lights, delivering a throwback performance. He completed 23 passes out of 27 attempts for 224 yards and two touchdowns.
Connor Heyward and Jonnu Smith provided the touchdown rushes while Kenneth Gainwell and Jaylen Warren combined for 25 carries and 113 yards. DK Metcalf led the receiving attack with three catches for 55 yards and a touchdown. Gainwell came next with seven receptions for 46 yards, Pat Freiermuth had three catches for 45 yards, while Marquez Valdes-Scantling caught a 19-yard touchdown pass.
Pittsburgh improved to an 8-6 record on the season, maintaining the top spot in the AFC East Division standings. They are above the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns. In terms of the AFC standings, they sit at fourth place. They are above the Los Angeles Chargers and Buffalo Bills while trailing the Jacksonville Jaguars and New England Patriots.
The Steelers will look forward to their next contest, being on the road. They face the Detroit Lions on Dec. 21 at 4:25 p.m. ET.
