Wild card weekend in the NFL is nearly complete. With the Saturday and Sunday slate of games complete, all that stands between the divisional round is the Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans squaring off on Monday night. With every other game now wrapped up, the Steelers know their destination should they advance to the divisional round.
Pittsburgh will travel to Foxborough to face the New England Patriots, should they defeat the Texans. The Steelers defeated the Patriots in Week 3 in Foxborough, forcing five Patriots turnovers en route to a 21-14 win.
Patriots quarterback Drake Maye is one of two heavy favorites for NFL MVP, along with Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams. The Patriots finished the regular season with a 14-3 record and the No. 2 seed in the AFC, winning the AFC East for the first time since 2019.
