The Steelers got a huge win on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts in a game that featured six takeaways by their defense. They now get set to head across the country to face the Chargers in Los Angeles on Sunday Night Football.
While the Steelers are coming off their biggest win of the season, they are unsurprisingly the underdogs in this game. Per FanDuel Sportsbook, Pittsburgh is a three-point dog to the Chargers. Seeing that they are the road team and making the long trip, this feels like a fair spread between two of the AFC’s top teams in terms of wins.
The last time the Steelers played the Chargers in Los Angeles, Ben Roethlisberger put together one of his last great gun-slinger performances. He threw for 273 yards and three touchdowns as the Steelers nearly overcame a 24-10 deficit, but lost 41-37.
The Chargers will be without star tackle Joe Alt, who suffered another ankle sprain against the Tennessee Titans. Considering how well the Steelers’ pass rush played against the Colts, that could be a massive difference-maker.
