The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Seattle Seahawks today at 1 p.m. EST, and each team released their inactive list ahead of the game. For the Steelers, that list notably excludes outside linebacker Nick Herbig, who missed the first game of the regular season with injury but is now good to go for the Steelers’ home opener against Seattle.
Per a team announcement, Week 2’s Steelers inactive list is as follows:
Without three starters on defense in Porter, Elliott, and Harmon, the Steelers’ goal to bounce back after giving up 32 points against the Jets will be more difficult. However, Seattle is also missing some big names in its secondary.
The Seahawks inactive list, as announced before the game, is as follows:
Witherspoon, the team’s do-it-all star at nickel cornerback, is out for the game after being listed as doubtful with injury. First round safety Nick Emmanwori will also miss the game.
