The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to come up short on adding another playmaker for their offense.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been scouring the market for another wide receiver since trading George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys during the offseason. However, they have continued to fail at landing one and now yet another option is off the board.
Veteran wide receiver Tyler Lockett is signing with the Las Vegas Raiders, according to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.

Lockett, 33, asked for and was granted his release from the Tennessee Titans last week after recording just 10 catches for 70 yards and zero touchdowns in seven games this season.
The Titans (1-7) are clearly building for the future with rookie quarterback Cam Ward after firing head coach Brian Callahan, and Lockett was clearly not a part of that future on a one-year deal.
Lockett was placed on waivers, but he went unclaimed as no team wanted to absorb the remainder of his $4 million guaranteed contract.
A 5-foot-10, 182-pound receiver, Lockett has played both in the slot and outside over his career.
Before joining the Titans this offseason, he spent the first 10 seasons of his career with the Seattle Seahawks, racking up 8,594 yards and 61 touchdowns. He was named to three All-Pro teams and one Pro Bowl and also led the NFL in kickoff return yards in 2017. He was released by the Seahawks in March.
Lockett seems to have opted for familiarity in his next stop as he is reuniting with quarterback Geno Smith in Las Vegas.
However, the Steelers may be looking to do the same for Aaron Rodgers as they are reportedly scheduled to workout veteran wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling on Monday.
In 2020, Valdes-Scantling set career highs in receiving yards (690) and touchdowns (6) with Rodgers in Green Bay.
