The Pittsburgh Steelers’ secondary continues to deal with injuries. Covering the Minnesota Vikings’ Jordan Addison during the third quarter, Jalen Ramsey slowed and grabbed his left hamstring. He exited the field limping and was looked at by trainers.

The Steelers are missing third-year cornerback Joey Porter Jr., who suffered a hamstring injury during the team’s Week 1 win over the New York Jets. Safety DeShon Elliott returned for the game against the Vikings after missing two weeks with a knee injury. He intercepted Carson Wentz earlier in the day.

On the Vikings’ initial offensive series, after a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown, Ramsey faked an injury to his right hamstring before grittying, stealing Justin Jefferson’s scoring celebration. The score was called back after a review that ruled Minnesota tailback Jordan Mason touched the loose ball while out of bounds, ending the play.

Before Ramsey left the field, the Steelers had allowed 120 yards passing. Jefferson had eight receptions for 97 yards, while Addison had two for 27.

The Steelers acquired Ramsey in an offseason trade that sent three-time first-team Associated Press All-Pro Minkah Fitzpatrick back to the Miami Dolphins. That swap also brought tight end Jonnu Smith to Pittsburgh.
