Pittsburgh Steelers veteran defensive tackle Cam Heyward left it all out on the field in Sunday night’s 26-24 over the Baltimore Ravens. The 36-year-old recorded seven total tackles (5 solos) and deflected a pass that resulted in a T.J. Watt interception.
Heyward’s five run stops against the Ravens was the second-most among interior defensive lineman in Week 18. Heyward was literally all over the field.
After the game, Steelers legends Brett Keisel and Alan Faneca praised Heyward.
“What a Warrior!!!” Keisel wrote on X.
Faneca responded to Keisel’s post, “Absolutely! Cam was everywhere.”
Faneca also wrote in a separate post, “@CamHeyward put it on his back tonight, he got down and did the work tonight, all over the place impacting the game
Cam Heyward's 5 run stops vs. the Ravens was the 2nd-most among IDL in week 18. Frontside/Backside/Point of attack- didn't matter. He was unblockable.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin also gave Heyward a ringing endorsement after Sunday night’s win. The two shared an emotional moment after the win.
“Cam’s been here a long time. He’s got a lot invested. He cares hard,” Tomlin said. “I don’t know what I can say about Cam that hadn’t been said. He’s a Steeler. He’s a quintessential Steeler.”
Watt praised Heyward for leaving it all on the field. He also roasted him by adding nearly 10 years to his age.
“Took a big hit on the first play of the game, too, and he was right back out there the next play, a couple plays after that. And just always around the football, man,” Watt said. “To do that at defensive tackle at 45 years old is incredible. Just awesome to have him as a teammate, honestly. Just the leadership — gave a great speech last night, gave a great speech today. It’s important to win, and there’s certain people you want to deliver wins for, and he’s definitely one of those guys.”
