Steelers LB Patrick Queen ‘pissed off’ after win over Patriots

The Pittsburgh Steelers came away with a Week 3 win on the road against the New England Patriots in a game where their defense had five takeaways. Despite that, the game still came down to the final minute. After Aaron Rodgers threw a go-ahead touchdown to Calvin Austin, the Patriots took the ball downfield and were looking to tie the game at 21. However, a fourth-down tackle by Brandin Echols on DeMario Douglas ended the game. Despite the takeaways and holding New England to less than 20 points, linebacker Patrick Queen wasn’t completely happy with the performance.

“I’m still pissed off,” Queen said via Alan Saunders. “Some people might say we played good, I feel like it’s a whole other level we can take it to… If we’re clicking on all cylinders, that team don’t score.”

The Steelers allowed just 14 points after allowing 31+ points in each of the first two weeks of the season. The tests won’t get any easier, as they will travel to Ireland in Week 4 to face the Minnesota Vikings – a team that just scored 48 points on the Cincinnati Bengals.
