James Harrison doesn’t seem to be much of a fan of Brendan Sorsby‘s. The former Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker made his feelings known about the disgraced now-former Texas Tech quarterback, who is applying for the NFL Supplemental Draft.

“Hey! Roger Goodell, what are you going to do?” Harrison said Tuesday on the “Deebo & Joe” podcast, addressing the league’s longtime commissioner. “Are you gonna let this degenerate gambler into the NFL? He needs help! … If you wanna call it help. I don’t call it help. I call it, ‘You’re ignoring and think you’re gonna be above it, because as soon as you got (strung) up, you said, ‘Oh, let me go the legal route and see if they can do this for me because I don’t care what the rules say. I should be able to play. It’s gonna hurt me if I can’t play.’ Fuck you.”

Last season at Cincinnati, Sorsby threw for 2,800 yards and 27 touchdowns. He also scampered for 580 yards and punched it in nine times. According to court documents, Sorsby placed at least 40 bets involving the Indiana football team when he was on the Hoosiers’ roster.

Sorsby secured a temporary injunction that restored his NCAA eligibility, but took a sharp turn and fixed his sights on the professional level.

“He only got out the way because they forced him out the way,” Harrison said. “He didn’t get out the way because he wanted to. He tried to stay in the way and say, ‘Poor me. Look what happened to me because I had an addiction, and it’s not my fault!’ It is your fault.”
