Multiple teams have shown interest in trading for Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

Schultz notes that teams have had a hard time getting a clear read on whether Las Vegas is truly willing to move him. The belief is it would take at least a Day 2 pick for the Raiders to even consider it.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the teams that have an interest in Meyers, according to Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda. Pauline also named Jaylen Waddle of the Miami Dolphins and Calvin Ridley of the Tennessee Titans as potential trade targets.

“The other name to keep an eye on is Jakobi Meyers, who wants out of Las Vegas and whose name has consistently been linked to the Steelers,” Pauline wrote. “Sources tell me there is legitimacy on a Meyers to Pittsburgh deal, though other teams have inquired about the Raiders wide out.”

Meyers recently shared that he still hopes to be dealt with the NFL trade deadline quickly approaching. Meyers requested a trade in August.

“Oh, for sure,” Meyers said via Ryan McFadden of ESPN. “But I’m a professional at the end of the day. I’m just trying to play good football.”

The Steelers showed interest in Meyers after he requested a trade this offseason, but the Raiders refused to trade him, as the team revamped its offense under Carroll by bringing in quarterback Geno Smith and drafting running back Ashton Jeanty.

Meyers had a career-best season in 2024, recording 87 catches for 1,027 yards and four touchdowns. In six games this season, he has hauled in 29 passes for 329 yards.

That type of production would be a fitting pairing with wide receiver DK Metcalf in the Steelers’ offense.

Meyers doesn’t have a specific destination he’s looking to be traded to, either.

“It’s a job,” Meyers said. “At the end of the day, I’m happy to be doing my job with my boys, but I could be happy anywhere.”
