🏈 Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw has no plans of retiring.
“Retirement is not something that — I mean, I may not be with Fox,” Bradshaw said in a recent appearance on Sports Business Radio, via Sam Neumann of Awful Announcing. “That would be their call, not mine. But I would still be speaking, but if not doing that, I’ll still work the bourbon trail.”
“Billy Graham said that the day that you retire is the day you start dying,” Bradshaw said. “I do believe a lot of people, when they stop using their brain and keep their thought processes moving and advancing, I do think, for whatever reason, I believe you age, and people end up dying. I mean, people die within a year after retirement. So I don’t want to do that. I see myself staying fully active right up to the end, whenever that is.”
Bradshaw, who’s 77, has been has been on “FOX NFL Sunday” since 1994. His contract with FOX expires in 2027.
🏈 Steelers All-Pro defensive tackle Cam Heyward’s 2026 Three Rivers Celebrity Softball Game at EQT Park got cancelled.
“Due to circumstances beyond our control, the 2026 Three Rivers Celebrity Softball Game has been cancelled. Fans who purchased tickets for this year’s event will receive a refund,” the Washington Wild Things said in a statement
Heyward also made a statement on X.
“Well guys heard softball will be cancelled this year. But I would love to find a creative way to get the community together. Taking all ideas. Spitballing here what if we just held flag football game or kickball. Give me some ideas yall,” Heyward wrote.

🏈 Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. has not been cleared yet to resume practice due to last season’s knee injury but he expects to be ready for the Falcons’ Week 1 game against the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium.
“I’m right where I need to be. Still making strides, day to day. Not 100% yet, but I know I will be right on time,” Penix told reporters in Atlanta.
If Penix can’t go, Tua Tagovailoa is slotted to start in Week 1 against the Steelers.
🏈 Former NFL offensive lineman and three-time Super Bowl champion Mark Schlereth praised Steelers legend Mike Webster.
“My all-time favorite player… I wore 52 in high school because of Mike Webster,” Schlereth wrote on X.
“I’m a little bit twisted… I used to love to watch that guy just dominate the LOS. Was a huge Steelers fan and Webster’s consistent work without fanfare resonated with me as a kid.”
