🏈 Despite being 41, Aaron Rodgers still has a cannon. The four-time NFL MVP quarterback displayed his arm strength on a pass to Pat Freiermuth in Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. Freiemuth was unable to haul in Rodgers’ pass, however.

🏈 Seahawks defensive tackle Leonard Williams said Renegade is their song.

“That’s our song. That was our mission all week,” Williams said, via The Athletic’s Michael-Shawn Dugar. “They play really tight close games, and in those close games, they play that song to get their team going. With us knowing that, we played that song a few times in practice, and every time we played it, we got hype. And it showed up again. I love seeing our sideline get electric like that, and looking at their sideline, and they just didn’t have the juice. It was amazing.”

🏈 Brady Henderson of ESPN posted a clip of the Seahawks players reaction to when Renegade was played on Sunday.

Mike Macdonald has a lot of experience at Acrisure Stadium and most of his players do not. So the Seahawks coach had Styx’s “Renegade” blasting through the speakers at practice last week to prepare them for how Steelers fans erupt when the song comes on.

🏈 Field Yates is surprised by Steelers’ defensive sruggles.

“The surprising part to me is, yes, they are integrating some new pieces into this defense. But guys like Jalen Ramsey, Darius Slay, who have been around forever in the NFL, those are the kind of guys that you don’t worry about what kind of role they’re going to have,” Yates said on ESPN Live. “I thought coming into the year that the Steelers had a passable offense that could become above average and a championship-caliber defense, which would be good enough to get them into the playoffs. Through two games, they’re 1-1 and it’s not because of the defense.”

🏈 Pro Football Focus’ Dalton Wasserman thinks the Steelers offense is not creative and lacks explosiveness:

“It doesn’t look great. Cause I think last week it was much more about the Jets blowing coverages and things like that in their secondary,” Wasserman said on the PFF NFL Show. “This is what happens when you have a competent defense in front of you. I don’t know that this Steelers offense is going to look a whole lot better. I don’t think there’s anything about this offense that scares me at all. This is not an explosive offense at all. It’s not a creative offense. And everyone said, ‘Okay, it will look like the Arthur Smith offense.’ It doesn’t look like the Arthur Smith offense at all.”
