🏈 Miami quarterback Cam Ward, who is the betting favorite to be the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, put the league on notice.
“OK, you’re either going to draft me or you’re not,” Ward said, via the Associated Press. “If you don’t draft me, that’s your fault. You’ve got to remember you’re the same team that’s got to play me for the rest of my career, and I’ll remember that.”
🏈 Steelers strong safety DeShon Elliott replied to an Instagram post last week speculating that Aaron Rodgers could land in Pittsburgh, “Leave his ass at the retirement home.” It appears it was just friendly banter, as Proactive Sports Performance posted a photo of Elliott and Rodgers together. The post was captioned, “Who retires first?”
It’s unclear of how recent the photo was, but Elliott liked the post on IG.
🏈 ESPN’s Matt Bowen believes Justin Fields is a better free agent quarterback than Russell Wilson. He ranked Wilson as the 42nd-best free agent, while Fields listed at No. 32.

🏈 Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network posted a friendly PSA for teams who are trying to replica the Philadelphia Eagles. The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of those teams.

🏈 ESPN’s Tim Hasselbeck thinks Russell Wilson is worth the hassle.
“I actually think that he is, especially in Pittsburgh. Which I still think is the most likely landing spot for him to return,” Hasselbeck said.
