๐Ÿˆ New Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers feels at home in Pittsburgh.

โ€œThis is a blue-collar town. The history of this great area is building the structure of the country. A lot of great people here, great fan base,โ€ Rodgers said. โ€œWe played here over the years. They even got their own song they play late in the third or in the fourth quarter. But itโ€™s a special, special place to play sports, just great blue-collar people. Iโ€™m excited to meet some of the fans along the way.โ€

Rodgers credits former Green Bay Packers head coach and Greenfield native Mike McCarthy for introducing Pittsburghโ€™s blue-collar work ethic culture to him. In addition to several other Western Pa. natives or people with ties to the Steelers organization.

โ€œI feel like Pittsburgh has been a part of my career from the beginning, playing for Mike McCarthy for 13 years, having Tom Clements โ€” or Tommy Clements, depending on how old you are โ€” as my quarterback coach forever, Dom Capers, Kevin Greene, Darren Perry, Ben McAdoo, Frank Cignetti, Luke Getsy. I donโ€™t want to forget anybody, but a lot of โ€˜Yinzersโ€™ in my life.โ€

๐Ÿˆ Cleveland Browns wide receiver Diontae Johnson is trying to change the negative narrative associated with him after playing with three different teams in 2024.

โ€œEverybodyโ€™s going to have their opinions. At the end of the day, Iโ€™m the only one in that room who really knows what be going on. โ€ฆ Last year is last year. Iโ€™m trying to change that narrative,โ€ Johnson said.

๐Ÿˆ Diontae Johnson said the Browns were โ€œreally the only team that hit me up.โ€ He said former Steelers teammate Kenny Pickett factored into his decision to sign with Cleveland, as well.

๐Ÿˆ Chuck Noll became the Steelers head coach in 1969 and went 1-13, 5-9, then 6-8 taking over an awful situation. Since then, Pittsburgh has had only seven losing seasons. And in those seven losing seasons combined, the #Steelers still won 41% of their games. One 5-11 season, three 6-10, and two 7-9 years, according to Matt Williamson of Steelers.com.

๐Ÿˆ Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens thinks Dallas is the right place for him: โ€œJust the guys and the team speed. The team speed applies to the scheme too. If you got a lot of fast guys, youโ€™re gonna definitely have a different scheme.โ€

Pickens also said this is the most speed heโ€™s played with since his time at Georgia....
