PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. was not happy with the amount of trash talk from Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy on Sunday.
Porter got the last laugh with the win, and he made the Browns receiver know about it after the game.
“He got a lot of talking to do. I wasn’t really worried about him. He’s gotta handle that L,” Porter said.
Porter and Jeudy were going at it from the beginning of the game. On the Browns’ first possession, Jeudy was called for a personal foul penalty after throwing a punch at Porter.
Jeudy caught five passes on 13 targets for 43 yards. He also had a drop. Porter and the Steelers’ secondary had him contained for the entire afternoon.
Porter had a banner day in his first game back since Week 1, recording five tackles, two of which were solos and two passes defended.

Porter was evaluated for a head injury late in the game but returned.
Porter exited the tent without a helmet, jogged back and forth on the sideline and ducked back under the cover. He left the tent, put his helmet back on and returned to the game.
Porter was initially banged up while making a tackle along with DeShon Elliott earlier in that Browns offensive series. He popped up right away before sitting and laying down on the field. He walked toward the tent, but didn’t go in before returning to action.
Porter had missed the Steelers’ previous three games with a hamstring injury suffered during the Steelers’ Week 1 win at the New York Jets.
Sunday was the first game since Week 1 that the entire starting secondary was on the field together.
Porter and Jeduy will see each other again in the Steelers-Browns rematch on Dec. 28 in Cleveland.
