It is no secret that the Pittsburgh Steelers are in desperate need of additional wide receiver talent. Outside of George Pickens, the Steelers struggled to get production from their wide receiver room in 2024.
With that in mind, it is clear to everyone in the Steel City that the Pittsburgh Steelers will tackle this issue in free agency and the 2025 NFL Draft.
Bovada, a popular sports betting site, has the Pittsburgh Steelers tied for the second-best odds to land five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Amari Cooper.
The favorites to land Cooper are the Patriots at +300, while the Steelers, Panthers, and Bills are tied with +400 odds to acquire him in the 2025 offseason.
Cooper had a down year in 2024, which is expected for a wide receiver learning a brand-new offense midseason. However, the 30-year-old receiver is just a year removed from an impressive 1,250-yard, five-touchdown season with the Cleveland Browns in 2023.
Cooper still has plenty left in the tank, and he could ultimately revitalize the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ wide receiver room heading into the 2025 season—if GM Omar Khan can bring his talent to the Steel City.
