The sportsbooks don’t think much of the 2025 NFL Draft class for the Pittsburgh Steelers. A week after the 2025 NFL Draft has come and gone, the Steelers remain playoff underdogs, and their postseason odds are basically unchanged since before the draft.
At FanDuel Sportsbook, the Steelers odds to make the playoffs have shortened ever so slightly, moving +158 on April 19 to +152 early on May 5. The Steelers have the eighth-best odds to make the playoffs of any AFC team.
The Buffalo Bills’ AFC-best odds got better after their draft haul, moving from -650 to -700. The Baltimore Ravens (-500) were static, while the Kansas City Chiefs shortened from -400 to -420.
The Cincinnati Bengals saw a more most bump in their playoff chances, from -170 to -162, as did the Houston Texas, from -144 to -142. The Los Angeles Chargers, the final remained at -110, while the Denver Broncos moved from +102 to -108.
The Miami Dolphins saw their odds lengthen, from +132 to +176. The Jacksonville Jaguars stayed at +172.
The Steelers’ odds of winning the AFC North (+500) did not change, and neither did the team’s 8.5 over/under win total.
Pittsburgh has made the postseason tournament two seasons in a row and in four of the last five years, but the Steelers have not won a playoff game since 2016, losing their last six in a row.
The Steelers have been a wild card team in each of their last three playoff trips after winning the AFC North in 2016, 2017 and 2020. That has caused them to go on the road in the postseason against some of the AFC’s top Super Bowl contenders.
The Steelers won 10 games in each of the last regular two seasons, and have gone over their preseason win total in five consecutive seasons.
