One Sports bettor had a significant bone to pick with Hard Rock Sportsbook.

A viral video online shows a male at the sportsbook section of the casino demanding his money. The older gentleman could be heard screaming, “Pay me my f–king money. I want my f–king money.” He continued to yell at the staff over his money.

“I’m gonna call the police. I’m gonna call everybody,” he finished yelling at Hard Rock staff. The footage would then end without a resolution.

What Happened With The Screaming Sports Bettor And Hard Rock

Hard Rock Sportsbook is not the only sportsbook to have encountered issues in the past.

A similar situation played out just last year. A 24-year-old sports bettor from Chicago claimed he was owed $800,000 from Caesars Entertainment. Thomas McPeek had been embroiled in a legal battle with Caesars over a series of winning bets. It should’ve netted him almost $1 million, he revealed to CBS at the time.

The bets were placed in 2023, and he has been trying to cash the tickets since then. Instead of giving him the payout, Caesars returned his initial $50,000 stake to him. “I pull out cash from Chase Bank. I take about $20,000,” McPeek said in an interview with CBS News. “I sat at the kiosk for four hours just punching in my bets — bet after bet after bet after bet after bet.”

He previously won $127,000 at the FanDuel-operated Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, Indiana.

As for the yelling man at Hard Rock, some asked Grok on X to explain what happened.

It revealed that the situation happened in 2024 and in Florida. The guy reportedly lost a large bet, (~$20K-$50K per other accounts). Grok further added that the man was enraged over feeling cheated or just being in denial that he had lost.
