Bryan Braman’s legendary speech ahead of Super Bowl 52 has gone viral following his tragic passing on Thursday.
Sean Stellato, the agent of Bryan Braman, informed KPRC 2 in Houston of the former linebacker’s passing. Braman, who was only 38, died from what was described as a “rare and aggressive form of cancer.”
Stellato told KPRC2 that Braman was surrounded by family and friends when he passed away. A GoFundMe page had been set up to help Braman’s recovery, and over $90,000 was raised.
Bryan Braman signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He helped the club to its first two playoff appearances in franchise history in 2011 and 2012, earning Pro Bowl honors in the latter year.
Braman won a Super Bowl 52 championship ring with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017. A video of Braman’s fiery pump-up speech for his teammates before the big game has resurfaced. And let’s just say, well, it’s no wonder those guys came ready to play against the favored New England Patriots:

Speaking on “The Ryen Russillo Podcast” in January 2020, former Eagles defensive end Chris Long recalled the epic speech from Braman before Philly won its first Super Bowl in franchise history:
“Bryan Braman was an absolute psychopath and he was like our cameo speech guy. And sometimes he would just, real impromptu, start screaming and looking like a f**king hedgehog, knocking sh*t over in the locker room, eyes bulging out of his head. And, of course, he did look like a Sons of Anarchy dude so you were like, yeah, I’m listening. But Braman got going Super Bowl Sunday and I was like, ‘Yeah, you got it, bro.’”
Bryan Braman played the majority of his NFL snaps on defense and special teams. He appeared in all three of Philly’s playoff games during the 2017-18 postseason run, including 24 special teams snaps in the 41-33 win over New England.
Braman is survived by his two young daughters, Blakely and Marlowe. Our thoughts and prayers are with Braman’s family and friends during this difficult time.
Braman got to join the likes of NFL legends such as John Elway and Peyton Manning, who retired on top as a Super Bowl champion. Braman announced his retirement after the Eagles’ triumph.
