A video showing Howie Roseman nearly getting knocked out by a flying beer can at the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl parade has surfaced online.
The GM celebrated Sunday’s Super Bowl LIX win with the NFC team this Friday following their beatdown of the Kansas City Chiefs and did not escape unscathed.
Roseman was seen sporting a gash over his forehead during the event, and several photos circulated as people speculated about what caused it. The beer can theory accompanied most of the snaps.
He confirmed as much to a reporter sometime after. And you can now see the exact moment it happened.
While Howie Roseman went down after getting hit, having been taken by complete surprise, he took the blow like a champ and was seen puffing on a cigar afterward.
The 49-year-old would also belt out what could go down as an iconic line after stepping to the podium on the legendary “Rocky Steps.”
“I bleed for this City. Go Eagles,” he yelled into the microphone.
Howie Roseman wasn’t the only one to get hurt by a beer can on Friday, as rookie Cooper DeJean took one to the face as well, although it was self-inflicted.
“I got a little battle scar,” he told FOX 29 while showing off a huge pendant in the shape of a can. “I hit myself with this big ass beer can.”
Only in Philly, right?
