Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair sent multiple messages on Monday night in Pittsburgh.
On the field, he and that daunting Texans defense stifled the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense all night long. In the game, he recorded six combined tackles. He made three solo tackles and assisted in three others. People accused him and the Texans of elder abuse for the way they treated Aaron Rodgers.
The message was sent to A-Rod and the rest of the league. After the game, Al-Shaair had another message that he wanted to get out.
Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair wore a powerful message on his face during Monday’s AFC Wild Card game against the Steelers. Not many fans may have seen it due to his helmet. From a distance, it was difficult to make out what was written on Al-Shaair’s eye black.
However, he made sure it was seen after the blowout victory. He and teammate Will Anderson Jr. appeared on the set of “SportsCenter” with Scott Van Pelt. With his helmet off, the words “STOP THE GENOCIDE” were on full display across his face. It was a reference to the Israel-Gaza conflict.
