The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are adding another uniform to their collection.
The Buccaneers showed off their new throwback alternate uniforms Tuesday ahead of the 2025 NFL season.
In a post on X, several Bucs stars, including quarterback Baker Mayfield and wide receiver Mike Evans, sported the new uniforms. The uniforms feature white helmets, jerseys, and pants with creamsicle orange and red accents.

On their official website, the Bucs announced that the team has not worn this exact combination since its inaugural season in 1976.
These throwback uniforms celebrate 50 years of Tampa Bay Buccaneers football. They will only be worn during the 2025 season before being retired.
“The ’76 Jersey represents a piece of Buccaneers history and serves as a tribute to the generations of fans and players who shaped this franchise,” said Brian Ford, the team’s chief operating officer, in a statement.
They’ll make their first appearance in Tampa, officially hitting the field September 21 for the home opener against the New York Jets.
One of the things many people may have missed is the hidden message in the jersey.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have “Hey, Hey, Tampa Bay!” on the inside of the collar as a nod to the team’s old-school fight song.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hoping to bring back their glory days, when Tom Brady had them on top of the world in 2020.
Since that Super Bowl run, the team has failed to advance past the divisional round. However, the franchise has been in the postseason every year since 2020.
The Buccaneers have made some key moves this offseason to help improve their team heading into next season.
The Buccaneers managed to keep resigning free agents and drafting new players to help improve and prepare for the future.
According to ESPN’s Seth Walder, Tampa Bay earned a B+ offseason grade.
