Sunday Night Football, Week 12. Tonight the Los Angeles Rams host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 8:15 p.m. EST.
The Los Angeles Rams come into this game with an 8-2 record, good for 1st place in the NFC West and tied with the Philadelphia Eagles for the best record in the NFC. The Rams are coming off a 21-19 victory over the Seattle Seahawks last week. They have won five straight games, four of them by two touchdowns or more.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers come into this game with a 6-4 record, good for 1st place in the NFC South, half a game better than the Carolina Panthers. The Buccaneers have fallen on hard times of late. They lost last week to the Buffalo Bills, and they have lost three of their last four games. The difficult stretch can largely be attributed to a tough schedule. The Buccaneers lost to the Detroit Lions, the New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills in the last four games. Two of the three losses were on the road. Now the Buccaneers face an excellent Rams team on the road, continuing a very tough stretch of games.
The Buccaneers are 4-2 on the road this season. The Rams are 4-1 at home.
