Sunday Night Football, Week 11. Tonight the Philadelphia Eagles host the Detroit Lions. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 8:15 p.m. EST.
The Detroit Lions come into this game with a 6-3 record, good for 2nd place in the NFC North, half a game behind the Chicago Bears. The Lions are coming off a 44 – 22 domination of the Washington Commanders last week, but they have lost two of their last four games.
The Eagles come into this game with a 7-2 record, good for 1st place in the NFC East. The Eagles have won three straight games. Last week they squeaked by the Green Bay Packers, 10 – 7. The Eagles have not looked much like the dominant team they were a year ago. They rank just 23rd in the NFL in yards gained and 18th in yards allowed. The one thing that has kept the Eagles winning games has been turnovers. They have the fewest offensive turnovers in the NFL and they have lost the turnover battle just once this season. That’s a good way to win games.
