The Super Bowl is just over a week away, and fans and analysts are trying to get their predictions together ahead of time, hoping to be on the right side of history.
Most people in the country seem to be rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles, if for nothing else than to stop the Kansas City Chiefs from completing the first three-peat in Super Bowl history.
While the Chiefs have felt inevitable for the past few years, mostly due to Patrick Mahomes’ brilliance, many of the top analysts are doubting them ahead of this game, including Skip Bayless.
Bayless is all-in on the Eagles, as he mentioned in a recent segment of his podcast.
“This time I’m betting on Jalen Hurts’ intangibles. No NFL quarterback has stronger intangibles than Jalen Hurts,” Bayless said, adding, “the same Jalen Hurts who ‘can’t throw’ will lead the Philadelphia Eagles past the Chiefs to a Super Bowl championship.”

Hurts was an MVP candidate during the 2023 season, but he didn’t have as great of numbers this year, especially in the passing game.
However, he’s turned it on in recent weeks, putting together an impressive passing performance against the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship.
He’s on a mission to win his first Super Bowl, bringing the city of Philadelphia back to the mountaintop.
If he relies on his instincts and intangibles as Bayless mentions, the Eagles should have a great chance of winning this game.
However, if the Chiefs’ defense is as strong as they were against the Buffalo Bills, Hurts might not be able to fulfill the prophecy.
